We are looking for you to join our client, Lufthansa Technik AG, at their Hamburg location as an Engine Component Painter to work on individual engine parts. If you’re confident with spray guns, masking, and thorough visual inspections, this is the job for you. Apply now!


The gross annual salary is up to €44,648.00, depending on qualifications. The position is initially temporary, with a contract expiring at the end of 2026. Responsibilities

  • Preparing individual engine components for the painting process
  • Masking surfaces according to specifications
  • Performing activation blasting for surface preparation
  • Manual painting using spray guns
  • Operating and monitoring drying ovens
  • Visually inspecting the finished components for quality assurance


Qualifications

  • Completed technical vocational training (e.g., as an industrial painter or automotive painter)
  • Several years of experience in painting, ideally in metalworking manufacturing
  • Practical experience using spray guns
  • Proficiency in German (min. B2) and basic knowledge of English (min. A2)
  • Willingness to work in a 3-shift system
  • Meticulous and precise work ethic, as well as technical understanding and a sense of responsibility
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (not a student visa) is mandatory
