For our client Collins Aerospace - Aerostructures Goodrich Aerospace Europe GmbH, we are looking for an Engine Mechanic (EBU) at the Hamburg site. Here you will work at the interface of mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics, contributing your expertise to the upgrade and integration of complex engine systems.

Responsibilities
- Engine Assembly: Assembly of engine systems and upgrading of pneumatic, hydraulic, and other subsystems
- Retrofitting: Integration of new subsystems into existing engines according to technical specifications
- Pre-assembly: Preparation of assemblies and components in accordance with technical drawings
- Installation: Fitting of additional assemblies such as sensors, lines, and control components
- Cabling: Laying and connecting cables, lines, and supply systems
- Integration: Installation of new components into existing engine structures
- Quality Testing: Performing fit and function tests on newly installed subsystems
- Documentation: Recording all retrofitting and installation work carried out
Qualifications
- Completed training as a mechanic or comparable qualification
- Initial experience in the aviation industry and handling engines is an advantage
- Knowledge of assembly, fastening, and sealing techniques according to aviation standards
- Conversational German skills (at least B1)
- Basic English skills (at least A2)
- Willingness to work in shifts
- Teamwork skills, flexibility, and a high sense of responsibility
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
