Tasks
- Leading projects in the field of manufacturing and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) to promote end-to-end digital continuity (E2E)
- Developing and implementing a PLM-based system to support engineering-to-shopfloor processes
- Designing and launching the "ME Work Preparation Excellence Journey" initiative
- Developing a Python-based user interface to manage configuration files for metrology projects
- Taking responsibility for the plant-wide transition of metrology software, configuration systems and databases
- Designing and programming a new configuration management system
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with business rules and automation standards
Qualifications
- Completed degree in computer science, engineering, mechanical engineering or metrology
- Several years of professional experience in the fields of IT / information systems, manufacturing engineering, metrology and data analysis
- Basic experience in performing 3D measurement procedures and in metrology / measurement techniques (e.g. AUKOM I)
- Good knowledge of XML, XML schemas (XSD) and XML stylesheets (XSL)
- Specialized knowledge in Python and confident use of Google Workspace
- Very good German language skills (at least C1) and good English language skills (at least B2)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
