Tasks
- Performing quality checks on 3D data for cabin and cargo compartment components
- Monitoring digital mock-up (DMU) integration across different work packages and suppliers
- Managing and controlling product structure configuration in accordance with applicable methods
- Ensuring data quality for the technical documentation approval process
- Coordinating 3D data exchange across project and departmental boundaries
- Supporting the resolution of configuration issues in close coordination with technical departments
- Establishing and maintaining a network of DMU integrators among partners and suppliers
- Promoting a uniform approach to processes, methods, and tools across various ATA chapters (Air Transport Association Chapters)
Qualifications
- Completed degree in engineering, aerospace, mechanical engineering, or comparable technical qualification
- Many years of professional experience in configuration management, aircraft construction, interface management, or production planning/control
- In-depth knowledge of CATIA V5, VPM A350, and SAP
- Good knowledge of digital mock-ups, 3D measurement methods, CIP, and project management
- Business fluent English (at least C1); German skills are an advantage
- Strong communication skills for working with internal and external partners
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
