Responsibilities
- Development phases of helicopters actively co-design and prepare
- Technical specifications implement and ensure the completeness of technical documents
- Test qualification of ground support equipment and handling procedures at the helicopter or test bench plan and execute
- Supplier management of subcontractors coordinate and monitor
- Project management: Ensure compliance with budget, time, and content requirements
- Experience exchange support by documenting lessons learned in the technical reference system
- Validation of means and procedures for error minimization, using Virtual/Augmented Reality and 3D printing
- Product safety: Evaluate work equipment according to the Product Safety Act and Machinery Directive
Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Aviation Technology (at least Bachelor's)
- Several years of professional experience in engineering, ideally in development
- Experience in project management
- Detailed specialist knowledge of Catia V5
- Business fluent English (at least C1); German skills are an advantage
- Knowledge of helicopter systems and in the field of ergonomics is desirable
- Basic skills in stress calculation
- Independent and organized way of working, sense of responsibility, and very good communication skills
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
