Tasks

  • Qualification of new materials and processes for civil and military applications
  • Production support for the industrialization of new technologies
  • Technical support for production departments
  • Advising the design office on the selection of suitable technologies
  • Collaboration on research and innovation projects for the further development of material and process portfolios
  • Harmonization of technologies and processes within the Airbus Group

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in chemistry, materials science, or a comparable field of study
  • Several years of professional experience in laboratory work/laboratory technology and project management
  • Initial experience in aerospace
  • Additional qualifications in materials and technologies desirable
  • Business fluent English (at least C1), proficient German (at least B2), and French skills an advantage
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • Resume in German and English required
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
