Tasks
- Management of development projects in the field of metal surface treatment
- Specification and verification of material and process requirements
- Evaluation of technical properties of new procedures using corrosion and adhesion tests
- Development of quality assurance concepts and standardization measures
- Definition of test programs and technical requirements for product development
- Analysis and documentation of surface processes, including the preparation of technical reports
- Technical support for corrosion-related issues from production and customer operations
- Collaboration with international teams and interdisciplinary partners
Qualifications
- Completed degree in Chemistry, Materials Science or Engineering
- Several years of professional experience in engineering, material testing and electroplating (galvanic technology)
- Experience in surface technology and corrosion protection is desirable
- Confident use of Google Workspace tools
- English business fluent (min. C1), German skills are an advantage
- Quick understanding of complex technical interrelationships as well as an independent, structured, and results-oriented way of working
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across all organizational levels
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
