Tasks

  • Preparation of electrical components at the assembly or work station (e.g. retrieving, reading, aligning, setting up, configuring)
  • Execution of electrical tests including ground tests, troubleshooting and fault correction
  • Installation of electrical parts and components such as cable harnesses, brackets or connectors
  • Adjustment of electrical components on instrument panels, circuit boards or sections including torquing and securing
  • Soldering, laying, connecting and assembling cables
  • Documentation of all work performed and any deviations in accordance with specifications
  • Participation in 2- to 3-shift operations
  • Compliance with safety and quality regulations in an aviation-certified environment

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as an electrician, aircraft mechanic or automotive mechatronics technician
  • Initial professional experience in the fields of electrical systems, manufacturing / production, maintenance, mechanical work or aerospace
  • Experience at Airbus is an advantage
  • Advanced German skills (min. B2) and basic English skills (min. A2)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
