Responsibilities
- Planning, procuring, commissioning, and modifying equipment and special fixtures for aircraft components (e.g., landing gear, engines, flight controls) made of metal and composite materials
- Analyzing existing fixture and equipment systems and deriving concrete improvements
- Creating requirement specifications and performing technical acceptance of designs
- Accepting and approving manufactured fixtures after testing their function, safety, and documentation
- Collaborating on national and international projects to equip production facilities with machines, systems, and equipment
- Advising and supporting internal clients on the selection, use, and optimization of equipment and fixtures
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechatronics or a comparable field
- Initial professional experience in fixture design or equipment planning
- Knowledge of product and operational safety (including the Machinery Directive, Product Safety Act, and Operational Safety Ordinance)
- Strong project management skills
- Advanced German and English language skills (minimum B2 level in both)
- Willingness to work a flex-time schedule / early shift
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (not a student visa) is mandatory
