You will develop strategies, coordinate license applications, and train specialist departments to ensure compliance with international regulations and continuously improve the performance of the export control function.

Responsibilities


  • Export Control & Classification: Conducting activities in the areas of licenses, approvals, accreditation, and access control for engineering
  • License Management: Preparing and coordinating all documents for license applications and monitoring application progress
  • Strategy Development: Developing new solutions to improve understanding and daily application of export control regulations
  • Team Coordination: Supporting the coordination of the team in the areas of licenses, approvals, and business applications
  • Consulting & Training: Providing continuous consulting and conducting training for affected specialist departments, including tools and business applications
  • Data Quality: Ensuring and maintaining data quality in a reference tool for export control topics
  • Process Optimization: Updating and enforcing the end-to-end export control process and continuously improving functional performance
  • Document Creation: Creating export control documents to ensure timely export release


Qualifications

  • Completed degree in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering (at least Bachelor's)
  • Several years of professional experience as a Design Engineer, in Engineering, or in technical documentation
  • Basic experience or pronounced curiosity in the field of aircraft design, development, and construction
  • Experience in export control classification, trade compliance, or implementation of project management is an advantage
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1); French or Spanish are advantageous
  • Solution-oriented and collaborative working style, strong communication skills, and teamwork
  • Intercultural competence, ability to synthesize and structure information, and independent approach
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
