Responsibilities


  • Export licenses: Process, monitor, and be responsible for write-offs and provisions
  • End-user declarations: Provide support and contribute to the assessment of export processes
  • Legal updates: Independently update German regulations in the field of foreign trade law
  • License management: Coordinate extensions and follow-up applications for expiring export licenses
  • Release processes: Manage the release of tangible and intangible assets (MDN, customer orders)
  • Operational reviews: Conduct operational checks as part of the secure hiring process
  • SAP system: Support as a key user and manage automated release processes
  • Approval procedures: Process approvals for spare parts and procedures according to the Foreign Trade Act (AWG)


Qualifications

  • Completed degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable commercial education with a focus on customs/export control (at least Bachelor's degree)
  • Several years of professional experience as a commercial or technical clerk, ideally with a focus on export control
  • Several years of experience with export control processes and sound knowledge of the Foreign Trade Act (AWG), War Weapons Control Act (KWKG), and US export law (ITAR, EAR)
  • Proficient handling of SAP and MS Office
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
  • Structured and analytical approach to work, high resilience, as well as good communication skills and customer orientation
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
