The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 76,533 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 31.07.2027. Responsibilities
- Control laws for flight control systems development and optimization
- Dynamic systems analysis and simulation of complex multiphysics models
- System integration of control laws with sensors, actuators, and processing units
- Simulation models development, evaluation, and validation
- Flight control systems specification and definition
- Test coordination with the testing team on test orders, procedures, and results
- Test support with a focus on operation and debugging of control and measurement systems
- Data processing and analysis
Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or similar (at least Master's/Diploma)
- Many years of experience in developing flight control laws and systems
- Experience in modeling and simulating complex multiphysics systems (e.g., dynamic flight mechanical models)
- Proficient use of MATLAB-Simulink, Python, and Google Workspace
- German skills at least proficient; English skills business fluent (at least C1)
- CV in English required
- Creative, solution-oriented, and pragmatic approach to problem-solving; resilience and teamwork
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
