You define the architecture and redundancy strategies of modern flight control systems and ensure the traceability and coverage of all requirements.

The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 63,141 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 31.03.2027. Responsibilities
- Define and design the system architecture for Flight Control Systems (FCS)
- Conceive redundancy management and corresponding functions for FCS
- Perform failure identification and isolation
- Requirements management at L2/L3 level: definition and validation of system requirements
- Support interface definition with adjacent systems and components
- Ensure requirements traceability and coverage
- Actively support system testing at L2/L3 level
Qualifications
- Completed Master's or Diplom degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable technical field
- Several years of professional experience as a Design Engineer or in development
- Experience in the areas of Systems Engineering and Requirements Definition required; experience as a Software Engineer at design and architecture level is an advantage
- Detailed specialist knowledge in Python and DOORS; knowledge of C++, Matlab Simulink, Cameo, and Scade is desirable
- Business fluent English (at least C1)
- High level of teamwork, strong communication skills, and analytical thinking
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
