Tasks

  • Validating, analyzing, and evaluating flight test results with a focus on flight loads (civil and military)
  • Generating load spectra to determine component lifetimes based on flight test data
  • Creating test orders for civil flight tests, taking into account requirements, efficiency, and risk
  • Defining measurement points and measurement procedures with regard to test requirements, evaluation, and acceptability
  • Supporting test implementation, including telemetry support for flight range extensions and flight safety-critical issues
  • Creating verification documents in English and presenting results to internal and external customers
  • Optional: Participation in overseas trials

Qualifications

  • Degree in engineering or aerospace (at least a bachelor's degree)
  • Several years of professional experience in the fields of engineering, aerospace, measurement technology, avionics, and data processing
  • Knowledge of flight testing, measurement technology, and helicopters, especially in the area of flight loads and vibrations
  • Very good knowledge of engineering mathematics
  • Experience in aircraft certification desirable
  • Very good IT user and programming skills; Python an advantage
  • Business fluent German and English skills (at least C1 in each)
  • Possession of a radio operator's certificate for aeronautical radio service is an advantage
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
