For our client Diehl Aviation Gilching GmbH, we are looking for a Head of Logistics Aviation at the Dresden site. In this key position, you will take on the technical and disciplinary leadership of the logistics department and actively shape the processes for efficient and timely order processing.

Responsibilities
- Department Leadership: Provide technical and disciplinary leadership for the logistics department at the Dresden site
- Logistics Coordination: Independently initiate and coordinate logistics activities
- Schedule Management: Ensure the timely provision of work, production, and customer orders
- Compliance: Review and monitor legal and official regulations as well as customs formalities and initiate necessary countermeasures
- Internal Logistics: Coordinate internal logistics and in-house transport
- Inventory Optimization: Participate in optimizing inventory levels and conduct inventories
- Process Optimization: Continuously review and optimize the department's processes
Qualifications
- Completed degree (at least Bachelor's) in Supply Chain / Logistics, Business Administration, or a comparable subject
- Many years of professional experience (at least 5 years) in the areas of Logistics and Warehouse Logistics
- Many years of leadership experience (at least 5 years)
- Very good knowledge of Process Management, Project Management, Lean Management, CIP (Continuous Improvement Process), Change Management, Risk Management, and Total Quality Management
- Business fluent German (at least C1)
- Business fluent English (at least C1)
- High sense of responsibility, resilience, organizational talent, teamwork, and strong communication skills
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
