Responsibilities
- Equipment and assembly of systems such as fuel systems and flight controls
- Structural assembly of metal and composite components using aircraft-specific procedures
- Work planning and execution using processes such as drilling, riveting, and bonding
- Leak testing on fuel tanks and other critical components
- Documentation of all work steps in the production plan and quality verification
- Handover of completed assemblies to internal and external customers
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic (specializing in production technology or maintenance technology) or comparable commercial training
- Many years of professional experience in manufacturing or production, ideally in aircraft construction or aerospace
- Practical experience in the field of composite materials and knowledge of classical helicopter structure and equipment
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English (at least B2)
- Willingness to work shifts and to undertake assembly assignments requiring travel
- Strong teamwork skills, high commitment, resilience, and flexibility
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
