For our client Lufthansa Technik AG, we are looking for a Industrial Mechanic – Maintenance​ at the Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel site. In this responsible position, you will perform precise measurement and inspection work on landing gear components, directly contributing to aviation safety and reliability.

Responsibilities


  • Inspection activities on landing gear components
  • Precision measurements using various measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and dial gauges
  • Dimensional control based on technical drawings
  • Gauges and limit gauges for quality inspection
  • Teamwork in a two-shift operating model


Qualifications

  • Completed apprenticeship as Industrial Mechanic, Machining Mechanic, Tool Mechanic, Precision Mechanic, Structural Steel Mechanic, Plant Mechanic, CNC Specialist, Machine and Plant Operator, Quality Inspector in the Metal Industry, or Mechatronics Technician
  • Initial experience in metalworking or quality inspection
  • Practical experience in handling measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, internal and depth gauges, and dial gauges
  • Confident reading of technical drawings
  • Basic English skills (at least A2)
  • Teamwork skills, flexibility, and resilience
  • English A2
  • Willingness to work in a two-shift rotation
  • Nice to have: Airfield driving licence
  • Nice to have: Aircraft Maintenance Licence (AML)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
