Responsibilities
- System analysis and identification of optimization potential in industrial processes
- Feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for planned system changes
- Lean Design workshops independently lead and implement the Lean Design Methodology (LDM)
- Value stream analysis to optimize manufacturing processes and flow management
- Project management tools such as PERT and GTV for Critical Path Analysis
- Lean Design of line layouts and workforce sizing (including cycle time, whitespace, buffer, manning density)
- Coordination and management of external service providers and suppliers within projects
- Quality standards, safety regulations, and internal guidelines ensure compliance
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Technical Studies, or Industrial Engineering at least Bachelor's level
- Several years of experience in manufacturing/production, project management, process planning, quality management, and data analysis
- Knowledge of SAP (detailed functions) and initial application knowledge in Catia V5
- Knowledge in Google Workspace
- Good knowledge of Lean Management and familiarity with relevant norms and standards (e.g., ISO 9001)
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
- Analytical skills, structured and independent working style, teamwork and communication skills
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
