Tasks

  • Managing complex IT projects from initiation through to successful go-live, including scope, budget, timeline and onboarding management
  • Applying the most suitable project management methodologies (e.g. Agile and Waterfall) depending on the project setup
  • Driving the development and deployment of digital solutions on digital platforms (e.g. Skywise), including international customer onboarding and rollout
  • Taking ownership of sub-contractor management and ensuring quality, standards and delivery results from external partners
  • Acting as the technical point of contact for airline and MRO processes, maintenance information systems (e.g. AMOS) and application hosting platforms (e.g. Aviatar)
  • Executing change management to ensure sustainable adoption of new processes and systems by (external) end users
  • Managing international stakeholder communication across cultures and hierarchy levels, and aligning with external customers for implementation and ongoing support

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in industrial engineering, business administration, or a comparable technical degree
  • Extensive professional experience in IT, project management, and the aerospace industry
  • Experience managing sub-contractors / external service providers, plus an understanding of process optimisation and deriving feature improvements
  • Confident use of Google Workspace, first hands-on experience with SAP, and ideally experience with Skywise and MIS (e.g. AMOS)
  • Fluent German and English skills (min. C1)
  • Willingness to travel and affinity for international collaboration
  • CV in English is required
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
