Responsibilities
- Software Provisioning: Ensure and manage the installation and upgrades of new software packages
- Infrastructure Availability: Maintain operational readiness in accordance with OLAs and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- System Monitoring: Continuously monitor performance and track it against negotiated SLAs
- Support Processes: Implement ITIL-based processes for incident, problem, change, configuration, and event management
- Failure Analysis: Analyze console messages, diagnose system failures, and initiate corrective measures
- Availability Assurance: Monitor backup processing and lead disaster recovery tests
- Improvement Management: Communicate improvement, update, and obsolescence requirements to the IT product manager
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist or IT systems clerk, or a comparable qualification (minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent)
- At least several years of professional experience in IT / information systems
- Specific experience with document management systems (DMS) and Microsoft Active Directory (AD)
- Experience in ITIL-based ticket processing is required
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server is mandatory
- Experience with PowerShell is required
- Microsoft Windows Server Admin certification is advantageous
- Communication skills and a high degree of initiative
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
