Responsibilities


  • Manufacturing equipment concepts for the innovative and economical production of Airbus structure and outfitting components
  • Specify and design special manufacturing tools, considering manufacturing, quality, safety, and ergonomics
  • Integrate manufacturing technologies and collaborate with specialist departments on automation solutions
  • Assume sub-project management for tooling projects, including cost and schedule planning
  • Support procurement processes by preparing tender documents and technically evaluating offers
  • Conduct acceptance tests at the supplier, lead functional tests, and ensure handover to series production
  • Create and validate technical documentation and support root cause analyses for non-conformities
  • Continuously advance fixture technology to increase efficiency and optimize costs


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed degree in mechanical engineering or another technical field (at least Bachelor's)
  • Several years of professional experience in jigs & tools development and in design/construction
  • Several years of experience in project management and in the creation of special manufacturing tools
  • Initial application knowledge of SAP and knowledge of detailed functions in Catia V5
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English (at least B2)
  • Knowledge of fixture or component design as well as fixture construction or manufacturing processes is desirable
  • Project management experience in industrialization projects is desirable
  • Strong communication skills, teamwork, and a high degree of responsibility, resilience, and organizational talent
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
