At Airbus Aerostructures GmbH in Stade, you will shape the technical foundations for series production as a Jigs & Tools Development Engineer. You will develop and validate jigs, tools, and manufacturing aids for the A350 program – from specification and supplier selection to final acceptance.

Responsibilities
- Jig and Tool Development: Analysis, evaluation, and technical acceptance of jigs, tools, and manufacturing aids
- Technical Project Collaboration: Support projects in the area of jigs and tools, including interface coordination with suppliers
- Specification Creation: Development of technical specifications for the procurement of jigs and tools
- Supplier Management: Selection of technical project suppliers based on defined criteria
- Data Validation: Creation, acceptance, and validation of datasets for design and manufacturing
- Quality Coordination: Tracking the acceptance and handover of jigs in cooperation with the quality department
- 3D Design: Design of jigs and tools in 3DX and Catia
Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing technology, aerospace engineering, or a comparable field (at least a Bachelor's degree)
- Several years of professional experience in manufacturing/production, ideally in the area of Jigs & Tools or Manufacturing Engineering
- Experience in design as well as supplier management
- Proficient use of Catia V5 and 3DX (3DEXPERIENCE CATIA); knowledge of Click´n Buy (BySide) and zamiz is an advantage
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1); French language skills are an advantage
- Willingness to travel (two to three business trips per year possible)
- High self-motivation, flexibility, good self-organization, and analytical thinking skills
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
