Tasks
- Managing and implementing logistics projects for the continuous improvement and standardization of 10 warehouses, transport networks, and repair activities worldwide
- Controlling the physical location transformation through space development, layout optimization, and material flow design
- Selecting, introducing, and rolling out warehouse systems, transport technologies, and material handling equipment (including evaluation and implementation planning)
- Setting up and managing business cases, including benefit arguments, cost-benefit analysis, and decision templates
- Moderating milestone and gate reviews and actively managing stakeholders in a matrix organization
- Planning, monitoring, and managing project budgets, schedules, and resources
- Leading cross-functional and transnational teams and ensuring clear communication between warehouse, transport, repair, and interfaces
- Analyzing key figures and deriving measures for stable operational implementation
Qualifications
- Completed degree in business administration or supply chain management/logistics (at least a bachelor's degree)
- Many years of professional experience in project management and supply chain/logistics
- Binding, practical experience in the design, implementation, and optimization of warehouse material flows, storage systems, and material handling equipment
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional, international project teams in a complex matrix organization
- End-to-end experience in project management (initiation, planning, control, completion)
- Confident use of Google Workspace
- Business fluent in English (at least C1); advanced German (at least B2)
- Willingness to travel worldwide
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
- Resume in English required
