For our customer Airbus Aerostructures GmbH in Hamburg-Finkenwerder, we are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer in Support A350 EQ (Equipment Installation) who will stabilize series processes, quickly resolve malfunctions, and consistently reduce residual work. Tasks
- Coordination of series work in mechanical and electrical system installation with the aim of achieving a section ready for delivery without any remaining work
- Researching design specifications and translating them into production orders and implementable shop floor steps
- Creating and editing technical non-conformity documentation in the event of disruptions in the installation process
- Ensuring material supply: calling off from the warehouse according to demand dates and escalating urgent requirements via procurement
- Construction site control, schedule monitoring, and active monitoring of missing equipment parts (15 days before station start)
- Identifying manufacturing problems and troubleshooting as quickly as possible to stabilize adherence to deadlines, costs, and quality
- Creating work plans in SAP PEA (S02/S03) for changes, modifications, and repairs
- Analyzing recurring faults and clustering in high-end tools such as Palantir Tandem, Sparrow, and Explorer
Qualifications
- Technical training as a technician/specialist in mechanical engineering or a technical degree (at least technician/specialist)
- Several years of experience in manufacturing/production as well as in production planning and control
- Initial experience in project management and work preparation
- In-depth application knowledge of SAP and SAP R/3
- Business fluent German and English skills (at least C1); French skills are an advantage
- Willingness to work shifts in a 2-shift operation (weekly change)
- Willingness to travel: approx. 2 weeks per year (mainly France)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
