Tasks
- Analysis, evaluation and design of workflows, tooling and inspection concepts, including APQP elements
- Creation and maintenance of extensive manufacturing structures, plus planning and documentation of inspection times for existing and new manufacturing processes
- Performing target vs. actual comparisons: preparing calculations, assessing manufacturing costs and keeping technical documentation up to date
- First-line troubleshooting for production disruptions and rapid coordination with the relevant interfaces/stakeholders
- Increasing process stability through analyses and coordination directly on the helicopter, deriving effective corrective actions
- Continuous improvement: identifying weaknesses in the production flow and implementing efficiency measures
- Active interface management: feeding shopfloor insights back into Manufacturing Engineering and Engineering to optimise tools/equipment and processes
- Support in ramp-up management for new programme variants and for process changes on the shopfloor
Qualifications
- Completed technical vocational training with further qualification as a Technician or Specialist (e.g. in mechanical engineering or mechatronics)
- Extensive professional experience in manufacturing/production, production planning & control, and manufacturing engineering
- Knowledge of APQP, ideally with experience in production support and process optimisation
- Advanced user skills in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, SAP and CATIA V5
- Knowledge of relevant ERP and PLM tools is an advantage (Windchill, CATIA, Delmia)
- German: business fluent (min. C1) and English: advanced (min. B1)
- Willingness to travel occasionally
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
