Tasks
- Development of a forward-looking line and production concept (line balancing)
- Close collaboration with engineering, including design consulting and implementation of design changes
- Design and implementation of innovative tooling and manufacturing concepts
- Review and approval of technical documentation in accordance with engineering standards
- Preparation of manufacturing engineering data, creation of SAP master data and Standard Operating Instructions (SOI)
- Execution of cost calculations and actual-vs-target comparisons
- Technical support for production areas and processing of quality notifications
- Participation in work preparation projects and PFMEA to define inspection requirements
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as an electrician or industrial mechanic with further qualification as a technician or certified specialist, or alternatively a completed degree in electrical engineering
- Extensive professional experience in manufacturing / production and several years of experience in work preparation, as well as solid REFA knowledge
- Completed qualification in MTM (Methods-Time Measurement)
- Ideally, experience working with 3D CAD systems, preferably CATIA V5, and knowledge in design and development
- Good knowledge of SAP R3 and confident handling of MS Office tools
- Very good command of German (min. C1) and good English skills (min. B2)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is strictly required
