Responsibilities


  • Process optimization in the definition phase by integrating optimization drivers (PERT)
  • Lead multifunctional teams (MFT) to create and validate station processes and work distribution diagrams
  • Optimize resource planning to ensure on-time delivery within the cycle time
  • Monitor and drive continuous improvement of manufacturing efficiency (CVAT)
  • Advise on and implement short-term and long-term program plan changes, and design new production lines
  • Perform standard line balancing to balance workloads between stations and achieve customer takt time and target rate
  • Increase line efficiency by optimizing cycle phases and reducing waste


Qualifications

  • Completed degree in mechanical engineering, a technical field, or a comparable qualification (at least Bachelor's degree)
  • Several years of professional experience in process planning and process improvement
  • Solid experience in the field of assembly; experience in time management and workplace ergonomics is an advantage
  • Detailed specialist knowledge of MS Office and experience in using production planning systems (e.g., SAP-PR3)
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
  • Strong cost and quality awareness, excellent cooperation and assertiveness skills, and analytical thinking
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
