Responsibilities
- Production Planning: Create and update work plans, bills of materials, and manufacturing instructions, considering time calculation and golden rules
- Tooling Concepts: Define requirements for industrial assets such as tools and machines and develop corresponding concepts
- Process Optimization: Plan regular feedback loops with the production team and manage recurring production planning issues
- Project Leadership: Lead and present cross-functional sub-projects for the continuous improvement of structural assembly
- Supply Chain Management: Ensure complete consistency and effectiveness of data within the material flow
- Innovation Integration: Support the implementation of innovations and big data applications in the assembly area
- Validation: Validate design principles and data sets, and implement design definitions into manufacturing documentation
Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in engineering, aerospace, or industrial engineering (at least a Bachelor's degree)
- Several years of professional experience in production planning, engineering, and process planning, ideally in the aerospace industry
- Good understanding of product integrity standards such as tolerances, key characteristics, and material properties
- Proficient use of SAP, MS Office (especially Excel), and CAD software such as Catia V5; knowledge of g-suite and Skywise is an advantage
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English (at least B2)
- Strong teamwork skills, high customer orientation, and an independent way of working
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
