For our client Lufthansa Technik AG, we are looking for a Materials Tester Aviation Industry at the Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel site. In a highly specialized laboratory environment, you will analyze materials and components using state-of-the-art microscopy techniques, making a decisive contribution to quality assurance in aviation.

Responsibilities
- Sample Preparation: Separating, embedding, grinding, polishing, and etching material samples
- Microscopy: Working with light, stereo, and laser microscopes for analysis and documentation
- Image Documentation: Photographic capture of components and digital image processing
- Measurements: Performing roughness measurements on surfaces
- Hardness Testing: Operating macro and micro hardness testers for material characterization
Qualifications
- Successfully completed apprenticeship as a Materials Tester
- Initial experience in working with light microscopes, stereo microscopes, and laser microscopes
- Confident handling of IT, office applications, and device-specific software
- Advanced English skills (at least C1)
- Knowledge of analytical methods using XRF and OES is a plus
- Knowledge of analytical methods using SEM/EDX is a plus
- Independent way of working
- Willingness to work in a team
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
