As a Structural Assembly Mechanic, you manufacture and assemble structural components according to aviation standards – from preparation to final documentation. Responsibilities
- Rivet joints and assemblies on aircraft structural components according to construction documents and manufacturing instructions
- Components manufactured in accordance with applicable aviation standards and precisely positioned
- Preparations including order and drawing review, component provision, and production tool inspection
- Assembly of components and assemblies carried out and documented according to quality standards
- Surface protection ensured through rivet head application and sealing seam preservation
- Manufacturing processes carried out independently and with a focus on quality
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic specializing in engine technology, industrial mechanic, automotive mechatronics technician, or in a metalworking trade
- Initial experience in manufacturing or production, ideally in structural assembly
- Basic skills in German (at least proficient) and English (at least basic)
- Willingness to work shifts in a 2-3 shift system
- Quality-oriented and responsible work ethic, as well as teamwork skills and focused, independent work approach
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
