At Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg-Finkenwerder, you will work as a Mechanic as Manufacturing Engineer to steer manufacturing processes for the Single Aisle Final Assembly Line. You will develop concepts, optimize workflows, and solve problems directly on-site – where individual parts become aircraft.

Responsibilities
- Manufacturing concepts for the Single Aisle Final Assembly Line
- Cost optimization through identification and coordination of improvement measures
- Process control with a focus on deadlines, quality, and efficiency
- Planning of individual parts and assemblies for new and series production
- Work Order Management for rework tasks
- Problem analysis in the manufacturing process and initiation of containment measures
- Manufacturing equipment commissioning and management
- Technical consultation on design and project matters
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as a plant mechanic for sanitary, heating and air conditioning systems, aircraft mechanic, or automotive mechanic with at least a technician or specialist manager qualification OR completed technical degree (e.g., aerospace engineering)
- Several years of professional experience in manufacturing / production
- Several years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering
- Proficient use of SAP and Google Workspace
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
- Willingness to work shifts (early and late shifts alternating) and voluntary weekend work
- Analytical thinking, teamwork, and strong communication skills
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
