We are looking for you to join Lufthansa Technik AG as an Mechanical Engineering Equipment Technician based in Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel. Responsibilities

  • Planning, procurement, commissioning, and modification of equipment and shop floor tools such as standard tools, tool sets, and operational equipment
  • Analysis of existing equipment systems and identification of improvements for stable, standardized processes
  • Supporting and advising internal customers on the selection, use, and optimization of equipment
  • Coordinating requirements, clarifying technical details, and liaising with relevant stakeholders
  • Ensuring an efficient, process-oriented approach in accordance with defined standards (including commercial framework conditions)


Qualifications

  • Completed technical vocational training, e.g., in metalworking or sheet metal fabrication
  • Additional qualification as a technician in mechanical engineering or comparable (e.g., master craftsman)
  • Initial professional experience in the planning of operational resources or comparable technical work environments
  • Good understanding of standardized processes as well as commercial contexts
  • Good general computer skills
  • Good German language skills (min. B2); advanced English language skills (min. B1)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (not a student visa) is mandatory
