Tasks
- Installing and configuring information and communication equipment in vehicles according to configuration specifications and checklists
- Performing error analysis and troubleshooting on communication and IT components directly at the customer's site
- Planning and implementing functional tests, including tests and creation of test reports according to specifications
- Documenting activities, deviations, and problems in a structured manner during deployment
- Actively contributing to knowledge sharing within the team (lessons learned, smooth handover)
- Working professionally in the military customer environment and under export control and security-related specifications
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as an electronics technician for aeronautical systems (aircraft electronics technician), mechatronics technician, IT systems electronics technician, or comparable training in the field of electrical engineering/electronics
- Initial experience in system integration, testing, and acceptance desirable
- Advantageous: knowledge of configuration/handling of radio equipment (HF, VHF, UHF), TETRA/cellular networks, GPS or satellite phones, as well as continuous integration and tools from the Atlassian Stack (e.g., Jira/Confluence)
- Business fluent in German (at least C1); advanced English (at least B2)
- Class B driver's license is mandatory; Class CE is an advantage
- Willingness to travel extensively (weekly/monthly changes of Bundeswehr locations; arrival/departure usually Mon/Fri)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
