Tasks

  • Selection of appropriate measurement strategies and systems for specific inspection tasks
  • Preparation of 3D CAD models for measurement planning and creation of measurement sequence control
  • Execution, analysis and visualization of measurement results
  • Identification of deviations as well as derivation and implementation of corrective actions
  • Collaboration with various departments for technical coordination
  • Documentation and further development of measurement processes and standards

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in Geomatics, Mechanical Engineering, Metrology, Mechatronics or a comparable technical field of study
  • Extensive experience in metrology and in the field of jigs & tools
  • Several years of experience in engineering, manufacturing / production, quality management, and geomatics / surveying
  • Good knowledge in performing 3D measurement methods, especially using 3D coordinate measuring machines and length measurement tools
  • Practical experience with laser measurement and scanning systems
  • Confident use of Spatial Analyzer, Polyworks or comparable metrology software; good knowledge of Google Workspace
  • Business fluent German skills (at least C1) and advanced English skills (at least B1)
  • Willingness to work in a 2-shift system
  • A valid and unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
