Responsibilities
- Simulation modelling for industrial processes such as material flow, resource planning, and assembly sequences
- Conduct sensitivity analyses and scenario evaluations to identify optimization potential
- Implement and adapt simulation software and tools for virtual commissioning
- Perform production data analysis to derive insights for improving system performance
- Create 3D line layouts and industrial mockups, applying Product Process Resource (PPR)
- Present model results and recommendations to internal stakeholders
- Drive the further development of Modelling & Simulation methods and tools within the company
Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical field (at least Bachelor's)
- Several years of professional experience with a deep understanding of production technology
- Experience in developing and validating simulation models for industrial processes
- Proficient use of CAD tools; experience with Plan Simulation and programming languages is an advantage
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving competence, and pronounced communication and teamwork skills
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
