Responsibilities


  • Technical Documentation: Develop, review, and approve documentation for Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) of the A400M
  • Technical Support: Troubleshoot complex system malfunctions and structural issues for MRO facilities and operators
  • Defect Analysis: Analyze aircraft defect reports and operational data, identify trends, and propose corrective actions or design improvements
  • Incident Investigations: Support root cause analysis and development of preventative measures for significant technical incidents
  • Regulation & Compliance: Liaise with design authorities, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with airworthiness requirements and specifications
  • Modifications & Service Bulletins: Evaluate and implement modifications, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives for the A400M fleet
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and enhancement of MRO processes, tools, and best practices
  • Training & Guidance: Provide training and technical guidance to MRO personnel on A400M systems and maintenance techniques


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed Master or Diploma degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
  • Several years of experience in MRO, airworthiness, or design support roles within the aerospace industry, preferably with military transport aircraft
  • In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems, structures, and propulsion; specific experience with the A400M aircraft is highly advantageous
  • Strong understanding of EASA/LBA or equivalent military airworthiness regulations and maintenance philosophy (DEMAR145)
  • Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, manuals, and repair instructions
  • Business fluent English (at least C1); good German language skills are ideal
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
  • CV in English language required
  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills, teamwork, customer-oriented mindset
