For our client HENSOLDT Optronics GmbH in Wetzlar near Frankfurt, you will secure the supply of materials and services as an Operational Buyer Domestic & International. You coordinate and monitor the entire procurement process from requirement to delivery, working closely with internal teams and external suppliers.

The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 48,123 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 30.04.2027. Responsibilities
- Procurement process implementation and monitoring from requirement to goods receipt
- Offer management including soliciting quotations and conducting price comparisons
- Order management with processing of order confirmations and delivery date monitoring
- Financial administration such as clarifying invoice or delivery discrepancies
- Quality control by handling defect complaints, claims, and repair orders
- Supplier management with correspondence with domestic and international suppliers or contacts
- Process optimization through support and close coordination with Strategic Procurement
Qualifications
- Completed commercial apprenticeship or comparable qualification
- Professional experience in purchasing or procurement desirable
- Proficient use of ERP systems such as SAP MM module
- MS Office skills in the detailed specialist knowledge area
- German business fluent (at least C1), English proficient (at least B2)
- Independent working style, coordination, integration ability, and assertiveness
- Teamwork skills, high level of responsibility, resilience, and organizational talent
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
