Responsibilities


  • Heating plant operation: Operation and supervision of hot water and steam boilers as well as combined heat and power units with a total output of 105 MW
  • Availability & efficiency: Ensuring high plant availability and energy-efficient operation of the generation systems
  • Supply adaptation: Optimizing heat and power generation to match the changing demand of the site
  • Documentation: Recording and documenting operational data, media consumption, as well as regular inspections and water analyses
  • Building management systems: Operation of systems for plant monitoring, fault detection, and efficiency control
  • Fault management: Receiving, assessing, and coordinating fault reports for systems at multiple sites
  • Contractor coordination: Managing and monitoring service providers during maintenance and repair work in the heating plant


Qualifications

  • Completed technical vocational training, ideally in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC)
  • Many years of professional experience in plant and operations technology, particularly in heat and power generation
  • Several years of practical experience in the maintenance and servicing of technical systems
  • Proficient use of SAP and MS Office; knowledge of building and facility management
  • Fluent in spoken and written German; proficient in English (at least B2)
  • Successfully completed training as a boiler operator for water-tube boilers and steam generators
  • High sense of responsibility, teamwork, resilience, and organizational skills
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
