Responsibilities


  • Planning, procuring, commissioning, and modifying electroplating systems, cleaning systems, and exhaust and process air systems for equipment
  • Analyzing existing systems and deriving measures for technical improvement and standardization
  • Automating technical processes for optimal utilization and stable process control
  • Collaborating on national and international projects to equip production facilities with machines, systems, and equipment
  • Supporting internal clients: providing technical advice on the selection, design, operation, and modifications to equipment and systems
  • Supervising commissioning, including coordination with internal interfaces and external suppliers
  • Incorporating environmental engineering requirements and approval/safety regulations into the planning process


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in process engineering, mechanical engineering, environmental engineering, or a comparable field
  • Initial professional experience in the field of process engineering systems, process exhaust air systems, or technical building equipment is desirable
  • Basic knowledge of relevant environmental laws and standards (e.g., Federal Immission Control Act, Technical Guidelines for Clean Air, Industrial Safety Regulation, Regulation on Facilities Handling Water-Polluting Substances, Machinery Regulation)
  • Good general computer skills
  • Advanced English (min. B2)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (not a student visa) is mandatory
