At Airbus Aerostructures GmbH in Hamburg-Finkenwerder, you will work as a Production Engineer / Work Planner to coordinate series work in Single Aisle equipment assembly. You will manage mechanical and electrical system installations, optimize assembly processes, and ensure the on-time delivery of sections – using your technical understanding and your eye for efficient workflows.

Responsibilities
- Series coordination for mechanical and electrical system installations aiming for on-time section delivery
- Technical documentation creation and processing, especially for disruptions in the installation process (Non-Conformity)
- Problem solving by researching design specifications and implementing them into manufacturing orders
- Process optimization by evaluating and introducing improvements in assembly processes and workflows
- Work planning in SAP PEA for changes, modifications, and repairs
- Material management by escalating urgent material requirements via procurement
- Quality control by identifying manufacturing problems and quickly resolving disruptions
- Project collaboration and technical consulting for the continuous improvement of schedule adherence, costs, and quality
Qualifications
- Completed degree in engineering, aerospace, or a comparable technical field (at least master craftsman level)
- Several years of professional experience in work preparation, manufacturing/production, and manufacturing engineering
- Experience in production planning and control; knowledge of material management is an advantage
- Proficient use of SAP; knowledge of Google Workspace
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
- Willingness to work shifts in a 2-shift system (early and late)
- Independent working style, high communication skills, and pronounced teamwork skills
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
