At Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH in Donauwörth, you will take on the role of Production / Manufacturing Quality Inspector, responsible for quality control of metallic components after surface coating. You will work directly at the interface between production and quality assurance, ensuring compliance with the highest standards with your expertise.

Responsibilities


  • Quality inspections and first article inspections on metallic components after surface coating
  • Delivery documentation: Create and manage documentation for quality-inspected parts
  • Non-conformance management: Record, process, and monitor the handling of quality reports
  • Corrective actions: Coordinate and ensure the implementation of containment, corrective, and preventive actions within cross-functional teams
  • Production support through rapid analysis and resolution of quality issues and prevention of foreign object damage
  • Operational surveillance for employees, products, and processes within the assigned area of responsibility
  • Personnel development: Supervise and coach production staff with L1/L2 delegation


Qualifications

  • Completed technical education, at least at master craftsman or technician level
  • Several years of professional experience in manufacturing/production and quality assurance, ideally in the field of electroplating/surface coating
  • Experience as an electroplater or surface coater
  • Proficient handling of MS Office and SAP (in-depth application knowledge) as well as G-Suite
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English (at least B2)
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and construction documents
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, solution-oriented and meticulous working style, assertiveness, independence, flexibility, and resilience
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
