Tasks

  • Optimizing and further developing production processes in new and series environments
  • Developing and selecting manufacturing concepts for individual parts and assemblies
  • Preparing budget, resource, and capex planning and deriving measures
  • Identifying and driving cost improvement measures to increase efficiency
  • Taking responsibility for the series process, including work planning and work order management
  • Confirming industrial feasibility in the construction document approval process and commissioning standardized production equipment
  • Supporting capacity management (anticipating capacity fluctuations, covering changes in the product life cycle, expanding competencies)
  • Performing fault management, including identifying manufacturing problems, corrective measures, and validating and controlling deviation reports

Qualifications

  • Degree in mechanical engineering or a technical field
  • Several years of professional experience in work preparation, manufacturing engineering, scheduling/material procurement, and in an industrial environment (e.g., industrial mechanics)
  • Understanding of technical construction documents, including rules and regulations, is an advantage
  • Prior knowledge of structural mechanical activities on aircraft is an advantage
  • In-depth application knowledge of SAP and confident use of Google Workspace
  • Business fluent in German (at least C1); advanced English (at least B2)
  • Willingness to work late shifts (every 10 weeks on a rotating basis)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
