Tasks
- Optimizing and further developing production processes in new and series environments
- Developing and selecting manufacturing concepts for individual parts and assemblies
- Preparing budget, resource, and capex planning and deriving measures
- Identifying and driving cost improvement measures to increase efficiency
- Taking responsibility for the series process, including work planning and work order management
- Confirming industrial feasibility in the construction document approval process and commissioning standardized production equipment
- Supporting capacity management (anticipating capacity fluctuations, covering changes in the product life cycle, expanding competencies)
- Performing fault management, including identifying manufacturing problems, corrective measures, and validating and controlling deviation reports
Qualifications
- Degree in mechanical engineering or a technical field
- Several years of professional experience in work preparation, manufacturing engineering, scheduling/material procurement, and in an industrial environment (e.g., industrial mechanics)
- Understanding of technical construction documents, including rules and regulations, is an advantage
- Prior knowledge of structural mechanical activities on aircraft is an advantage
- In-depth application knowledge of SAP and confident use of Google Workspace
- Business fluent in German (at least C1); advanced English (at least B2)
- Willingness to work late shifts (every 10 weeks on a rotating basis)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
