Tasks
- Optimization and further development of production processes through Continuous Improvement (CI) measures
- Identification and implementation of cost improvement initiatives
- Planning and creation of work plans for individual parts and assemblies in accordance with MOA (Maintenance Organization Approval) guidelines
- Coordination of the continuous improvement process with regard to quality, deadlines and costs
- Development of technical solutions in coordination with Engineering, deviating from applicable SRM/CMM (Structural Repair Manual/Component Maintenance Manual) specifications
- Selection and evaluation of suitable manufacturing concepts
- Identification of production issues and initiation of appropriate corrective actions
- Commissioning of production equipment, both standardized and custom-built
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as aircraft mechanic, mechanic, metalworker or a comparable qualification, each with a master-level certification; or a technical degree (minimum: certified technician or business administrator)
- Extensive professional experience in production planning / control and several years of experience in manufacturing engineering, maintenance, project management as well as in structural mechanics at Airbus Operations
- Sound knowledge of EASA Part-145 regulations and continuous improvement processes (CIP/KVP) required; ideally, experience with SRM & CMM as well as with repairs on structural components and fiber-reinforced composites
- Confident use of SAP, zamiz and Google Workspace
- Business fluent German skills (at least C1) and proficient English skills (at least B2) – interviews are partly conducted in English
- Willingness to undertake occasional business trips
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
