Tasks

  • Creation of work plans and parts lists according to design specifications in SAP for additive manufacturing (3D printing) and assemblies
  • Establishment of comprehensive manufacturing structures for test specimens and ALM components
  • Industrialization of 3D-printed components, including construction job preparation through to first article inspection (FAI)
  • Review of construction documents and manufacturing specifications for feasibility using known and new manufacturing processes
  • Providing manufacturing support to the design department as an interface between engineering and the shop floor
  • Supporting production control (extended workbench) for 3D-printed components
  • Preparing cost analyses for ALM components and deriving cost-saving measures
  • Continuously improving manufacturing and assembly processes, including participating in or leading improvement projects

Qualifications

  • Training as a technician in the field of industrial metalworking, mechanical engineering, or similar, or qualification as a mechanic/metalworker with a technician or specialist degree
  • Alternatively: Degree in engineering, aerospace, mechanical engineering, or mechatronics
  • Several years of professional experience in scheduling/material procurement, manufacturing/production, and production planning and control
  • Knowledge of additive manufacturing of metal components
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP
  • Business fluent in German (at least C1); advanced English (at least B2)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
