Tasks

  • Handle A320 FAL Hamburg safety-related reports as part of the Safety Management System
  • Coordinate and supervise immediate containment actions, lead root cause analyses, implement corrective actions, and verify sustainability
  • Act as a communication and cooperation interface with stakeholders such as Quality Conformance, Manufacturing Engineering, Safety Item Managers and others
  • Analyze safety-related data and create dashboards for effective decision-making within the SMS network
  • Organize and lead regular progress and review meetings for SMS-related cases
  • Develop, adapt and maintain the local SMS governance documentation and prepare internal audits in cooperation with the broader SMS network when required
  • Define and oversee preventive and continuous improvement measures
  • Support knowledge transfer and SMS best practices among quality managers and case handlers

Qualifications

  • Degree in Aircraft Construction, Engineering, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering (at least Bachelor's)
  • Several years of professional experience, including: 3+ years in Quality Management, Experience in Process Optimization, Project Management, Engineering, and Data Analysis
  • Familiarity with Lean Management (good knowledge), TQM, KAIZEN, and Risk Management
  • Personally, you are analytical, organized, solution-focused and communicative
  • Fluent German and English skills (at least C1 level)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union is mandatory (no student visas accepted)
