Tasks
- Independent definition and implementation of effective inspection concepts to ensure product quality in the airplane doors area
- Implementation of APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) including Control Plan, support of Process FMEA, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) with relevant stakeholders
- Planning, coordination and execution of First Article Inspection (FAI) including kick-off and action follow-up
- Inspection Planning: creating, managing and tracking inspection plans, inspection optimization/dynamization, and complex inspection instruction documents
- Representation of the full Quality scope within the project, including planning of individual quality activities and cross-functional alignment
- Interface function between Manufacturing Engineering and Design Engineering
- Support and release of work plans as well as Standard Operation Instructions (SOI)
- Participation in Multi Functional Team (MFT) meetings and active representation of quality requirements
Qualifications
- Completed degree in Engineering, Composites, Quality Management, or a comparable technical qualification
- Extensive professional experience in Quality Management and Plastics and Rubber Engineering
- Several years of professional experience in Engineering as well as Manufacturing / Production
- Hands-on experience with composites and in quality management required; experience with metal manufacturing processes is desirable
- Qualification in First Article Inspection (FAI) is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP, and ideally Google Workspace (G Suite)
- German: negotiation level (min. C1) and English: advanced (min. B2)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
