Tasks

  • Implement APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) within the project: build the Control Plan, provide technical support for Process FMEA, and establish Statistical Process Control (SPC) together with stakeholders
  • Represent the Quality function within the project, plan quality activities, and actively manage the exchange with all interfaces
  • Prepare, coordinate, and carry out First Article Inspection (FAI) activities – including kick-off, action follow-up, and clean documentation
  • Take ownership of inspection planning: design inspection plans, inspection optimization (dynamic inspection), and complex inspection instructions so that effort and effectiveness are aligned
  • Act as the link between Manufacturing Engineering and Design Engineering: translate quality requirements, clarify open points, and consistently bring them into production
  • Provide technical support for work plans and Standard Operation Instructions (SOI) and drive them through approval
  • Clearly represent quality topics in Multi Functional Team (MFT) meetings, address critical issues openly, and push solutions forward pragmatically
  • Further develop quality standards and ensure communication stays concise and easy to understand – technically precise, without unnecessary complexity

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in engineering, composites, quality management, or a comparable technical field
  • Extensive professional experience in quality management
  • Several years of experience in engineering as well as in manufacturing / production
  • Experience with metals and material testing; ideally also knowledge of First Article Inspection and metallic manufacturing processes
  • Solid skills in SAP and Microsoft Office; experience with Google Workspace is an advantage
  • Very good German skills (min. C1) and advanced English skills (min. B2)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
