At Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH in Donauwörth, you will take on the role of Quality Inspector for the Final Assembly Line, responsible for quality control and acceptance of civil helicopters. You work directly at the interface between manufacturing and certification, ensuring compliance with all airworthiness regulations.

The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 52,124 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 03.10.2028. Responsibilities


  • Perform quality inspections and acceptance of civil helicopters (MCA)
  • Ensure airworthiness and monitor compliance with airworthiness regulations
  • Create required delivery documentation for assemblies and systems
  • Plan and conduct first article inspections on internally produced assemblies
  • Non-conformance management: Record Non-Conformities (NCs) and initiate and monitor corrective actions
  • Production monitoring with L1/L2 delegation in the Final Assembly Lines
  • Prepare quality gates towards the customer and ensure final conformity
  • Problem solving: Coordinate "Practical Problem Solving" activities and troubleshoot systems


Qualifications

  • Completed technical education, at least at master craftsman level (e.g., Industrial Foreman, Mechatronics Foreman)
  • Several years of professional experience in electrical systems, manufacturing/production, and mechatronics
  • Initial experience in quality assurance, ideally in the aerospace industry
  • Proficient use of MS Office and SAP (knowledge of detailed functions)
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English (at least B2)
  • Experience in aviation and quality management
  • High social competence, reliability, assertiveness, quick comprehension, as well as a goal-oriented, independent, and proactive working style
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
