Responsibilities
- Inspection and Testing of metallic and organic 3D-printed parts according to DIN 19828
- Quality Assurance and ensuring compliance with aviation regulations
- Documentation: Creation of required delivery and conformity documentation
- First Article Inspection on internally produced assemblies
- Non-Conformance Management: Creation of Non-Conformity Reports (NCs) and monitoring of corrective actions
- Line Support: Conducting assignments in the Final Assembly Lines (FAL)
- Personnel Supervision: Monitoring and guiding production inspectors (L1/L2)
- Process Optimization: Coordination of Practical Problem Solving (PPS) activities and Lean initiatives
Qualifications
- Completed apprenticeship as a master craftsman/craftswoman in a metalworking trade or as a process mechanic for plastics and rubber
- Several years of professional experience in manufacturing/production and quality assurance
- Experience in aerospace as well as with heat treatment and 3D printing is an advantage
- Advanced application knowledge of MS Office and SAP
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English (at least B2)
- Willingness to undertake occasional business trips
- Teamwork skills, high social competence, reliability, and a goal-oriented, independent way of working
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
