The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 88,061 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 30.06.2027. Responsibilities
- Modification Development: Independently structure and prepare technical offers for aircraft modifications and upgrades
- Technical Validation: Systematically review and approve solution approaches and the associated documentation
- Solution Development: Identify potential for new retrofit adaptations and improvements, evaluate them, and actively support their development
- Retrofit Strategy: Design upgrade solutions for aircraft fleets and ensure technical feasibility
- Documentation: Maintain complete and approvable technical documentation according to aviation standards and Airbus requirements
Qualifications
- Completed university degree, at least Bachelor's, in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another technical subject
- Several years of professional experience in configuration management, engineering, aircraft construction, and maintenance
- Solid knowledge of aircraft construction and configuration management according to aviation standards
- Secure application knowledge of the engineering software Catia V5 as well as advanced knowledge in Taksy/Gesy/Tesy, VPM, and VPM A350. Knowledge of Google Workspace is required
- Proficient in German; business fluent in English (at least C1)
- Experience with Trend and APS is advantageous
- Analytical thinking, structured and independent work style, as well as pronounced teamwork skills and intercultural competence
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
